Jennifer was very responsive before our arrival, answering questions about the Wi-Fi and package deliveries. The home was spotless, spacious, beautifully decorated, and felt newly renovated. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the record player, board games, and puzzles, plus the well-stocked kitchen and plenty of bath and beach towels.The waterfront location was the highlight—we loved exploring the shoreline at low tide, kayaking in the evening, and making s'mores around the fire pit. It was also a great base for day trips to Parksville, Cathedral Grove, and Little Qualicum Falls.Our only minor issue was that we couldn't borrow the ping pong and pickleball equipment one morning because no one was at the front desk. The view is stunning and peaceful. Beds were comfortable. Decor is great. Everything was provided that we needed:Beach towels, shampoo/conditioner, plates, cutlery, French press etc. It also felt very spacious. Amenities are dated at the property and never saw someone staff the front desk so not sure if pool balls, ping pong paddles, bikes or stand up boards were available but we didnt look into it. The restaurant was also closed during our stay.The gas firepits looked very nice near the ocean but we never used. Overall, although the "resort" feels older and dated, the suite we stayed in was modern and very comfortable.
